Multi-country payroll with editable statutory values
Multi-country payroll means paying employees in several countries from one system while following each country's rules. In NanoHRMS, statutory values such as rates, ceilings and taxability rules are dated settings your payroll team edits per tenant, not numbers written into the code, so a rule change does not wait for a software release.
How editable, dated statutory values work
Each statutory value is stored with the date it takes effect. When a rate or ceiling changes, your team adds the new value with its effective date, so a mid-year change applies from the right period.
Because the values are data, every country is configured the same way. Where a country seed pack exists, it supplies starting values that your team reviews and edits.
What a tenant configures
- Statutory rates, ceilings and thresholds, each with an effective date
- Taxability rules, for example for end-of-service and leave-encashment payments
- Statutory leave entitlements, as settings rather than hard-coded rules
- Pay groups and the currency each one is paid in
- Who reviews and approves each payroll run before it is paid
What a payroll run produces
- Payslip PDFs for each employee
- Arrears for back-dated changes, carried into the next run
- Year-end tax-form PDFs for many employees at once, as one ZIP
- GL journal export for your accounting system
Limits, stated plainly
- Payroll is in active development. Parts of the payroll output are not yet enabled in early-access builds.
- NanoHRMS does not give tax or legal advice: your payroll team or adviser decides the values, and the product applies them.
- Seed values are a starting point to review, not a guarantee of compliance.
- Evaluation tenants are set up with you for the countries you pay people in.
