Questions and answers
- What is NanoHRMS?
- An HR and payroll platform that keeps one employee record for core HR, attendance, leave, payroll, talent and HR service. It is built for organisations that pay people in more than one country.
- Can we use NanoHRMS today?
- NanoHRMS is in early access and in active development. Accounts are opened by invitation, and public sign-in is not open yet.
- Which modules does NanoHRMS include?
- Five groups: core HR, attendance and leave; payroll, compensation and benefits; talent (recruitment, performance, learning and engagement); HR service (helpdesk, grievance, policies, workflow and assets); and reporting and AI.
- Can NanoHRMS pay employees in more than one country?
- Yes. Payroll is built for more than one country and more than one currency per tenant, and every country is configured the same way, with its statutory values as settings.
- Who keeps tax rates and statutory values up to date?
- Your payroll team. Rates, ceilings and taxability rules are dated settings the tenant edits, so a change applies from its effective date without waiting for a software release.
- Does NanoHRMS give tax or legal advice?
- No. NanoHRMS applies the values your team or adviser sets. Seed values for a country are a starting point to review, not a guarantee of compliance.
- Which languages does NanoHRMS support?
- English, French and Arabic, with a full right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Can we use single sign-on?
- Yes. Each tenant can sign in with OpenID Connect identity providers or passkeys and provision users with SCIM. SAML 2.0 is on the roadmap.
- How is our data kept separate from other customers?
- Tenant tables use PostgreSQL row-level security, enabled and forced, and each tenant has its own hash-chained audit trail. Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-256.
- Does NanoHRMS hold security certifications?
- Not yet. NanoHRMS is in early access and does not hold SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other third-party certifications.
- Which tools does NanoHRMS connect to?
- Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite, plus outbound webhooks, OpenID Connect SSO with SCIM, email through your own SMTP server and biometric attendance devices.
- Does NanoHRMS include AI features?
- Yes. You can ask questions of your HR data and use workforce forecasting, and AI features can run against a locally hosted model.
- Are these the final prices?
- No. These are indicative prices to help you plan. Final pricing is published at launch, and early-access customers agree their pricing with us directly.
- What currency are prices in?
- Per month for the whole company, excluding applicable taxes. The amount is shown in your chosen currency, and the invoice currency is confirmed at signup. Annual billing is shown where it is cheaper.
- Can we run NanoHRMS on our own servers?
- The on-premise edition is available on the Enterprise plan. Every other plan runs on our cloud. It is the same product in both editions.
- How do we request early access?
- Email [email protected] with your company, the countries you pay people in and your headcount. We reply by email and set up an evaluation tenant with you.
